The Maze Runner came in second this week at the Box Office behind Denzel Washingston’s thriller The Equalizer, followed by The Box Trolls in third, and  This is where I leave you ended up in fourth.

Among the movies opening this week includes Gone girl, based on the novel by the same name by Gillian Flynn, staring Ben Affleck, Rosamund Pike, Neil Patrick Harris and was directed by David Fincher. On the fifth anniversary of their marriage, Nick (Affleck) reports that his wife, Amy (Pike) has gone missing. His strange behavior, lies, and media frenzy quickly have everyone asking the same question: Did Nick murder his wife?

Based on the 16 best selling novels by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins, Left behind opens this weekend with Nicholas Cage staring in the faith-based thriller. The story focuses on the idea that the world is ending, and millions of true believers disappear while the unbelievers are left to deal with chaos and the destruction of the world as we know it.

Twihards, I have some good news for you! Lionsgate confirmed that there will be a series of ‘mini-movies’ that will be concentrated on a character from the series that will be released via Facebook sometime next year. Lionsgate also alluded that this may be a template, one that could possibly be used again.

It’s been increasingly hard to find news about books outside of movies, though I’ve been attempting to look into different avenues to find that information. Does anyone have any suggestions of places I could find to help in my search? It would be greatly appreciated, please leave it in the comments for me to take a look through.
