American Sniper came in at number one at the Box Office this passed weekend, with Paddington coming in third, The Imitation Game coming in at sixth, followed by Into the Woods in seventh, and The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies  coming in at eighth.

Among the movies opening this weekend is Mortdecai, based on the Mortdecai triology written by author Kyril Bonfiglioli, which follows art dealer, and aristocrat, Charlie Mortdecai as he searches for a stolen painting that holds a code that leads to lost Nazi gold.


Just because I’m excited about Bitten’s premier being so close (February 7th on Space), I read an article about what to expect for the second season. As mentioned, the second season will be based loosely on the second book, Stolen, in Canadian author’s Kelley Armstrong’s Women of the Otherworld series, which will introduce us to other supes in that world. Included will be a coven of witches, with members including Ruth Winterbourne, the coven leader, her daughter, Paige, and Savannah Levine. The second season also brings the Pack into the Otherworld, and will also deal with old foes from the first season.


HBO has also released the season primier of season 5 of Game of Thrones, based on the novels written by George R. R. Martin, which will be Sunday, April 12th. The announcement followed the announcement that HBO would premier its most successful show on the bring screen in I-Max, which will include the final two episodes from season four and a preview of the new season.


The hit AMC showing The Walking Dead, has released a second teaser trailer for the second half of the fifth season. The series picks back up on February 8th.
