American Sniper came in at number one this week at the box office, Paddington came in at third, The Imitation Game came in at sixth, Mortedcai came in at 9th, and Into the Woods came in at 10th.

A new trailer for Marvel’s Fantastic Four was released this week, which is a new take on Marvel’s oldest and  longest running superhero team who get transported to another universe and have their physical appearances altered in big ways. The movie is due in theaters August 2015.

It’s been confirmed today that Emma Watson, best known for her portrayal of Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter movies, will be playing Belle in Disney’s  live-action Beauty and the Beast. This follows Disney’s past live-action movies Maleficent, Cinderella, and The Jungle Book.



It was confirmed this week that the Netflix original series, Orange is the New Black, based on the book by Piper Kerman, third season will be released on June 6th of this year. Fans can except more drama for Piper Chapman while she finishes her 15 month sentence for being part of a drug ring because of her girlfriend at the time, Alex.



A new cover of J.K. Rowling’s A Casual Vacancy has been released on the 22nd of January, which is meant to tie in with the February 2015 release of the three-part BBC One drama based on the book. The new cover will features some of the actors that will appear in the TV serial, including Michael Gambon, Keeley Hawes, and Julia McKenzie.
