American Sniper came in first at the Box Office again this week, followed by Paddington in second, and The Imitation Game came in seventh.

Seventh Son is opening this week at the Box Office, based on The Last Apprentice: Revenge of the Witch by Joseph Delaney, follows Thomas as he apprentices with the local Spook to learn how to fight evil spirits.

It was announced which 6 story lines, instead of the five originally reported,  would be followed for the Twilight short films, which is still looking for female directors to direct the shorts. The movies will focus on the back stories of Alice Cullen, the Vultorri’s weapons, Jane and Alec, Benjiman (who fans met in Breaking Dawn), and Carlisle Cullen. The six shorts will be released on Facebook within the next 3 months, so keep an eye out!

Game of Thrones fans have the opportunity to experience the show in IMAX, thanks to HBO teaming up with Warner Brothers. From January 29th to February 5th, fans can see the show on the Big Screen at any participating theaters. Episodes 9 and 10 from season four will be shown, which have been digitally remastered for the experience.

Books

It was also announced this week that Harper Lee, who wrote To Kill A Mockingbird, will be publishing another novel. The new book, that will be a sequel to Mockingbird, is called Go Set A Watchmen. The book follows an adult Scout as an adult, and flashes back to Mockingbird. Harper originally finished this book in the 1950’s, but he put the novel aside. The book will be released July 14th, 2015.
