50 Shades of Grey came in number one at the Box Office this passed weekend, and The DUFF came in fifth, followed by American Sniper in sixth, The Imitation Game came in ninth, and Paddington came in ninth.
The Oscars aired last night, and movies adapted from books won an abundance of the gold statues. American Sniper (Alan Robert Murray and Bub Asman) won for Sound Editing, Big Hero Six (Don Hall, Chris Williams, and Roy Conli) won Best Animated Feature, The Imitation Game, which was written by Graham Moore (his acceptance speech is the video below) won Best Adapted Screenplay, Eddie Redmayne won Best Actor for The Theory of Everything, and Julianne Moore won for Best Actress for Still Alice.
Currently, I have no other news book related. It may be because of an illness I’ve been fighting, but I cannot seem to find anymore news for this weeks post. I will keep an eye out for more news, but currently that’s all for this week.
