Fans following George R.R. Martin’s have been missing out on the eldest Stark daughter, Sansa, as the last time a chapter in the series appeared was well back in 2005 in A Feast of Crows. Last week. Martin released a chapter from his up and coming book in the series, The Winds of Winter, which focuses on Sansa as Alayne, which is the secret identity Sansa is using while posing as Littlefinger’s bastard daughter in the Vale. It also shows fans the first glimpse of Littlefinger in 10 years, as well, though little has changed for him.
It was also announced this week that the star of the popular series The Vampire Diaries, Nina Dobrev, has decided to leave the show. Dobrev, who plays main character Gilbert, had been planning on leaving the show for a while and had been figuring out a way to exit the show with the help of her boss, Julie Plec. She claims that she didn’t want to just be identified as Elena, or ‘the-chick-who-starred-in-the-Vampire-Diaries’, and instead wants to focus on yoga and possibly directing.
