The Longest Ride came in on top this week for movies based on books at the Box Office, but did only come in at seventh. Woman in Gold was the only other movie to get in the top 10, but it just scraped by at number ten.

Opening this weekend at the Box Office includes Avengers: Age of Ultron, which follows the Avengers during their fight against Ultron from fulfilling his plans.

Also opening this weekend is The 100 year old man who climbed out the window and disappeared, based on the book of the same title by Jonas Jonasson, which tells the story of 100-year-old Allan Karlsson after he falls out of the window of his nursing home on his 100th birthday and has an adventure.

The movie Allegiant, the final installment in Veronica Roth’s Divergent movie series, has cast the villain for the two part finale. Jeff Daniels is currently in final negotiations to play genetic researcher David in the films, which (in the books) controls the outside world.
