Mad Max: Fury Road came in at fourth at the Box Office this past weekend, Avengers: Age of Ultron came in at fifth, and Poltergist came seventh.
New posters have been released for Mockingjay Part 2 this week, though the crumbled statue of President Snow was the only one I could get a hold of.
John Green’s cameo in Paper Towns will be in the movie, as director Jake Schreier confirmed at BookCon on May 30th. Much to the delight of fans, and Green himself who’s cameo was cut from The Fault in our Stars, joins a number of authors who have made cameos in the movies based on their books. It was announced that a new 50 Shades of Grey will have another book released on June 18th, called Grey. The book, which is being released on main character Christian Grey’s birthday, will tell the story of 50 Shades through Grey’s eyes. After being asked continuously by fans on Grey’s point of view of his relationship with Anastasia, she finally relented and wrote this book.
After the announcement that Jon Cor was cast as Hodge in the show Shadowhunters, based on Cassandra Clare’s successful series The Mortal Instruments, fans began to panic and the hashtag #HotHodge was born. Even though it’s never stated in the books how old Hodge is, fans were led to believe he was older than Cor is. Fans fixted on the actor chosen to play Hodge in the movie, which aged Hodge roughly 20 years older than Valentine, Jocelyn, and Luke. When, in reality, Hodge was a year younger than his friends.
