Mad Max: Fury Road came in on top for movies based on books this past weekend at the Box Office, though it only came in at fifth. Tomorrowland came in at seventh, Avengers: Age of Ultron came in at eighth, and Poltergeist came in at tenth.

Jurassic World comes out this weekend, which is set 22 years after Jurassic Park is set and has the dinosaur themed amusement park that John Hammond dreamed about. But, with visitor rates declining, a new exhibit is created to increase visitor rates that quickly sets a number of horrible events into motion.

It was recently announced that there will be three new songs in Disney’s live action of Beauty and the Beast, which will stare Emma Watson and Dan Stevens, that aren’t from the original Broadway Play. Alan Menken, Academy award winner and Disney composer, announced that ‘Forever more’ will be sung by the beast, and ‘Days in the Sun’ will be sung by the servants as they fall asleep.

The teaser trailer for the final installment of the Hunger Games, Mockingjay Part 2, was released this week. It shows fans what Katniss and the rebels will endure to free Panem from President Snow’s cold, dead fingers.

The filming for the first episode of Shadowhunters, the television show based on Cassandra Clare’s Mortal Instruments books, has wrapped the past week. Fans know very little about what could or could not happen in the pilot of the show, but we do know that Clary and Jace will meet at the all ages club, Pandemonium. Clary cries when her mother is taken, Clary and Simon go to the poetry reading, and Clary faints for whatever reason and wakes up in the Institute.
